The Bounty Project
In 2017, Professional yachtsman Conrad Humphreys set up the Bounty Project after filming the recreation of Captain Bligh’s voyage of survival for Channel 4.
Having acquired the replica boat and the assets from the Channel 4 series, Mutiny, Conrad is now taking this incredible story into schools around the UK.
Bligh was from Plymouth and regarded as one of the greatest navigators in British history. He served under Captain James Cook during the voyage of discovery in 1768 and charted much of the South Pacific, including New Zealand and Australia.
Conrad is now looking for partners with an interest in science and technology to support the Bounty Project’s mission to inspire creativity in young people across the UK.

Schools
Working with Primary and Secondary school teachers, we have designed an interactive educational programme with activities that link Bligh’s voyage to key areas of the national curriculum, such as science, maths, geography, history, English, and citizenship.
The replica launch, ‘Bounty’s End’ is based in Plymouth and is able to be taken into schools and events across the UK. This greatly enhances the experience and enables the whole school to experience a Mutiny Day.
With the support of local business, we can activate an incredible day for the children which can inspire learning and improve engagement.

Experiences
Bounty’s End is commercially coded to Cat 4, so we can take groups of up to 8 people up to 20 miles from a safe haven.
Sailing Bounty’s End is a truly unique experience and a great team day out for clients or staff. Conrad skipper’s the boat and hosts the day making sure everyone gets fully involved.
We currently offer day sails and a 24 hour overnight experience which includes building a wild camp ashore and learning some basic survival skills.
In 2019 we are also launching a new mini adventure on the Island of Skye, Scotland. This will be a 5 day voyage around Skye taking in some of the Lochs, whisky distilleries and stunning scenery.

Live Events
Bounty’s End together with the media assets acquired from the Channel 4 series, Mutiny enable us to set up an innovative ‘pop up’ exhibition for live events.
Bounty’s End is a big draw for the crowds at boat shows and festivals and provides a ‘wow’ factor at exclusive events.
Conrad is an excellent keynote speaker and can host your event or give an enthralling talk about the Voyage.
Bounty’s End can also be on the water providing experiences for journalists and media teams.

Partnership
There are a number of ways you can support the Bounty Project, so we recommend a meeting to explore the mutual opportunities.
Some of our partners have helped financially to support our schools programme, whilst others have organised a staff team building day and a fund raiser.
We have a lot to offer and can design a bespoke package of rights that will fit your marketing and social responsibility objectives.
Please contact me directly if you would like to set up a meeting to discuss this opportunity in more detail and download our partnership document here.
